The King’s Speech won four awards, all in major categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Original Screenplay. Inception also tied with four awards, all in the technical categories. And of course, Natalie Portman took home Best Actress for her Nina in Black Swan.
But–as always–we were most excited for the fashion and action of the red carpet! Soft neutrals, which have been dominating the carpet for seasons now stole the spotlight again on Hailee Steinfeld, Michelle Williams, Halle Berry, and Mandy Moore. Head to toe sequins also made a strong showing on Gwyneth Paltrow, Amy Adams, Penelope Cruz. Lavender and purple were also a hit on some of the night’s best dressed including Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman, and Cate Blanchett. Red, a huge trend on the runways for both Spring and Fall 2011, looked regal on Jennifer Lawrence, Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway and Jennifer Hudson.
But now its your turn to judge.
